The IGSAB International Allies Program is designed to provide support, community, and resources for international graduate students to help them adapt to life in the US and at UChicago. Eligibility requirements for International Allies Program

As a part of this peer-to-peer mentoring program, students in their second year and beyond will serve as mentors to first students. This mentorship may entail sharing various life, academic and administration-related experiences, among other things. Each mentor-mentee pair will be required to meet at least twice per quarter. A small stipend will be provided if possible, to enable outings with your mentor/mentee such as going for brunch or coffee, visiting a museum, or other activities.

The 2024 cohort of International Allies is our largest ever, with >300 first-year students and >100 peer mentors!
